REC Watches produces unique watches with a fascinating history. The watches contain recycled materials from specially selected objects, an exciting twist and a unique story follows each clock.
In connection with the launch of REC Watches first series of watches, our contribution were 3D animations to visualize the concept. Each watch contains a piece of plate from a classic Mini Cooper (car) and thus a piece of history. The clock comes in two different models, both heavily influenced by the original Morris Mini which went into production in 1959.
The idea of the animation is to present the various color and material variations of the clocks and draw parallels to the classic car and also visualize what part of the car is integrated in the clock. In addition, the animations have a touch of humor and some recognizable elements the typical mini-driver will be familiar with. In addition to animation we also created a number of still image visualizations of clock types for use in various marketing material.
